Country Music

OK there, so. I’ve made occasional promises here, mostly out of laziness, to do things later on and then, for the most part they ain’t come to be. Back when me an Randy was getting testy over Merle Haggard I promised y’all a little more Willie Nelson sometime and here we finally go then. This is his album from earlier in the year, it’s called Country Music and it does what it says on the tin. Apparently this is Willie’s first ever ‘traditional’ album. Whatever, I know Wille can be a bit hit and miss but it’s one of the good ones, no experiments with reggae or duets with LeAnn Rimes here just old style Country played and sung beautifully. It’s a deal less raucous but it’d sit well next to those Black Twig Pickers tunes from Sunday, so here you go
