Son, I need a friend

Well friends, in all the Tom related excitement last week seems we missed out on the 50th anniversary of the movie of Breakfast At Tiffany’s hittin the screens. Fine film, sugar coats Capote’s book some – especially at the ending but I reckon as you could argue without too much difficulty as it wouldn’t be all that well remembered without the movie now. It’s just over a hundred pages and worth the effort if you’ve never read it, and the movies a joy ain’t it? Still, ’round here at the Old Record Club we just seen it as a chance to put up a tune or two by the other Holly Golightly, the queen of our hearts. So here’s a couple of old singles which find her in pretty combative garage mood.
