Stagger Cast #64

Stagger Cast #64

The merest hint of summer and we’re hitting the hammock, grabbing the daiquiri on the way. Or that’s what we tell ourselves. This’ll be the last Stagger Cast before a big record and hat and all sorts of tourist tat buying trip to Austin, New Orleans and Lafayette and I can’t barely contain my excitement. Expect Stagger Cast #65 to be FULL of new stuff I picked up Stateside. Meanwhile, enjoy #64 – lots of soul, some cuts from Soul Jazz’s new Studio One Rocksteady compilation, and the usual mix of delights.

Oh, and a STUNNING Spanky Wilson tune Mrs Brandy Hickey played me.

That’s her there, in the hammock…
